"Making JUST Monuments" was a 2 week intensive course taught at the NWS by Humanities teacher Kate Boyd and Visual Arts teacher Julia Freeman during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school year. This website documents students' research based visual art Wayfinders that are currently installed in the NWS. Each Wayfinder has a QR code on it so viewers can go on an art walk in the school and learn more about different artists, activists, scientists, educators and social movements honored by the student made monuments.
